The year was 2023 – The rugby sport in Nigeria received a major boost when indigenous oil and gas servicing firm, KTS Oil & Gas Services Limited, threw its support behind the 11th Sandie Beach Rugby Games which took place on November 26, 2023, at the Landmark Beach, Lekki, Lagos.

The event, organised through a collaboration between TurboCrest Sports and Landmark Beach, aims to bring the excitement of rugby to Nigeria’s shores.

Speaking on the partnership, KTS Oil & Gas CEO, Tom Otuaga, said the company’s involvement reflects its commitment to youth development and community well-being.

“We are pleased that Sandie Beach Rugby offers young people a positive and engaging outlet,” Otuaga noted. “By encouraging active participation in sports, the event helps steer youths away from negative influences.
